reblogged from finnsfood:

11/22 Dinner is served!

I just feel bad for anyone who wasn’t eating what I was eating last night :P

I had: macaroni, Gardein roast, potato salad, rice and peas, green beans, cranberry jelly, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

I think the best part was, even though I ate a lot, I did wasn’t able to finish it all, and I stopped eating after I was full. Any other Thanksgiving, I would have just attempted to stuff everything down in order to clear my plate and felt like utter crap afterwards, thinking that was normal. That is one of the nuances about being vegan that I really enjoy. My body just overall functions so much better.

Vanilla ice cream and pumpkin pie, yum.

My Thanksliving day dessert! Since the husband and I went all out with dinner (holiday pizza with all the fixings!), we got lazy with the pie and ice cream and served the store-bought stuff: namely, razzleberry pie topped with a scoop (or two or three!) of vanilla So Delicious. Super-yummy, and a fitting end to a day spent binging on carbs!
