Vegan Hot Fudge has arrived. Coop’s MicroCreamery - a small batch producer in Watertown, MA (yes, the same Watertown where the Marathon bombers were found) has developed this product. All Natural and used Coconut Cream and Coconut Oil instead of dairy.

Went on a super cute ice cream date to Lula’s Sweet Apothecary while in NYC. Boyfriend got a classic root beer float, I went with a sundae: raspberry ice cream, hot fudge, chocolate chips, and coconut whipped cream with a cherry. I’m moving to the east coast, guys. lula’s sweet apothecary in manhattan makes undoubtedly the best vegan ice cream i’ve ever tasted. recently, at their shop, i ate the sundae pictured above: cake batter soft serve, 1 scoop of cookies and cream ice cream, chocolate chips, hot fudge, whipped cream, and (of course!) a cherry on top.
i know i tend to throw superlatives around like i’m trippin’ (i can think of at least 5 BEST vegan pizzas i’ve ever eaten, and i know i refer to several edibles as the “most awesome food” ever), but lula’s is truly unmatched. they kill all restaurant ice cream competition, as well as the store-bought brands. plus, their parlor is like some kind of crazy vegan time warp: it’s in the future because it’s vegan and super cool—-yet, it’s in the past because they have so many old schooly items on their menu (egg creams, flavored sodas)! pinch me.
trust me, trust me, trust me. if you like ice cream, hit up lula’s any and every time you’re in NYC. the toppings list is staggering, the ice cream is phenomenal, and the place has charm.
I don’t think I’d ever leave.
While cruising through one of my new favorite blogs, Hello Giggles, I found this post (and subsequent video) all about making vegan sundaes. How exciting! There are recipes for both salted caramel and bananas foster. And who does it happen to star? Napeoleon Dynamite’s own Haylie Duff! I love my celebrities, especially when they partake in vegan doings and makings.
Can someone make the caramel sauce and bring it over to my apartment? Thanks! We can totally run across the street and pick up some Coconut Bliss at Whole Paycheck. Sundae Party!

Banana walnut & peanut butter fudge ice cream, hot fudge, candied pecans, soy whip, and a cherry. Wow. Yes it was amazing and I ate every last bite, by myself.
